Descrição/Abstract
The first National report on the Conservation of Biological Diversity in Mozambique has been prepared in accordance with Article 26 of the Convention of Biological Diversity which requires. Parties to prepare periodic reports measures taken to implement CBD provisions and fhe effectiveness of such measures. The Report covers implementation activities carried out during 7997 and highlights the current status of biodiversity in Mozambique, trends in biodiversity, institutional and legal framework for conservation and the formulation of a draft National Strategy and Action Plan.
