Birds provide a wonderful window on nature. Being colorful, spectacular and with beautiful songs, it is no surprise that millions of people around the world watch or feed birds. Tracking the numbers of people engaging in activities that celebrate birds or count them can be used to monitor awareness of biodiversity.
